Overview
The Greek mountain paradise Manthos Hotel at Chania Pelion was founded in 1910 and continues its successful course until now, functioning daily all the year round. Located 1200m above sea level and surrounded by a thick beech forest, it forms the passage from Western to Eastern Pelion. It’s a famous inn, where travelers and traders used to spend their night. Today it constitutes a destination, equal to family accommodation. Situated just 2 km from the ski resort “Agriolefkes”, the ski fans descend the mountainsides, full of frozen, fossilized-like trees, scanning Pagasitikos Bay on their left and Aegean Sea on their right respectively. At the mountains of Centaurs, in an area where nature flourishes, resulting in the uniqueness of the landscape throughout the seasons, the dark green mountain, mentioned as the god’s of Olympus residence by the myth, towers majestically above Volos, between the Pagasitikos Bay and the Aegean Sea.
